ASHRAE’s certification program helps building owners and managers identify individuals who can design, install, test and maintain building systems and equipment to meet operational needs. The program targets individuals who manage the commissioning process, not commissioning providers.

ASHRAE certification helps professionals demonstrate that they have mastered a certain body of knowledge and can provide outstanding services in their area of expertise.”

The computer-based exam is offered at testing facilities across the United States and in 19 other nations. Persons interested in earning the certification must meet certain eligibility requirements and submit a completed application.
